“O” my goodness, I like my play group!
I went to my play group today after about a month’s absence (due to getting sick and then going out of town). At first I was a little nervous to get back into the fray with all those other little people my size, but then I found this GIANT yellow ball to play with! (Taller than me, even!). That was fun for a while, and then I discovered this neat thing called a slide. I mostly like climbing up to the top of the platform and looking around at everything, but today I finally let my mommy coax me down the slide itself, and it was fun! I got a stamp on my hand at the end of class, too - no end to the hilarity at Pleasant Hill Parks and Rec!
Sidenote: My alphabet knowledge is expanding - today in the tub my mommy asked me if I could find the letter O out of the foam letters on the wall, and I picked it up and handed it to her. This seemed to surprise and please her - I think I’ll have to come up with more tricks like that!
