Animal Magnetism
Hey all!
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and enjoyed their sumptuous holiday feasts of canned tropical fruit, raisins, and goldfish crackers. (That’s what I had for dinner, anyway - poor mom and dad got stuck with some funny looking stuff they called ‘turkey’ and ’stuffing’). Oh, and I loves me that pumpkin pie biscotti that my mom makes - I will actually ask for it by name! (”B! B!”). “B” currently also means whatever food item I am asking for at that moment, but my parents seem quite pleased to hear me me make that sound, so I humor them.
Not a lot to report this week, but did want to make a shout out to animals and magnets! Animals are SO way cool, whether they are of the stuffed variety, illustrations in a book, or the real live thing. I love to make all the animal sounds I know (see previous entry), but my favorite noises are bear noises. Nothing like a satisfying “GRRRRRRRRRRRR” to soothe the soul! I love to match animals up, so I’ll point out all the bears I can find, or all the monkeys, etc. Oh yeah - I forgot - monkeys absolutely rock the cazbah playground. I like to imitate them, cuddle my toy ones, take them with me in the car, etc. And my dad’s logo is a monkey, which is like, amazing. Yeah - can I get a “Ah ah ah ah”?.
Magnets are very entertaining! I can be distracted for a long time with a fridge or metal board and a group of magnets. They stick to some stuff, but not to others, which is weird. But they are still a hoot and a holler! Kinda along the same line as stickers, which I am also quite enthusiastic for. Sometimes at Trader Joe’s they give you stickers, and I peel all of them right off the paper and immediately affix them to my front. I look pretty spiffy when I’m finished!
Have a good week everyone!
